The Simon K|45 watertight box is designed for the most demanding environments where conditions can be challenging, or in highly trafficked areas that require optimal protection to ensure complete safety and durability.

They can be installed in both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Maximum protection for adverse environments: IP66 and IK08 rating

The range of watertight floor boxes from Simon ensures a robust installation with an IK08 rating, supporting a maximum load of up to 2,000 kg, and effectively protects against dust and liquid, offering an optimal IP66 rating when the lid is fully closed.

Flexibility of integration into different types of flooring

There is a box designed for each type of flooring according to its characteristics and needs.

On one hand, the box for raised floors features an outer frame with the same finish as the lid, which rests on the floor covering to ensure a perfect fit and to conceal any imperfections in the cut of the flooring.

On the other hand, the watertight tray for pavement has no outer frame, allowing for a completely flush installation integrated with the floor covering.

Design and new finishes

For complete integration in any installation, the range of watertight boxes is available in black and stainless steel finishes. The frame for raised floors and the mechanism support unit are made from the same material to ensure a uniform aesthetic. Additionally, its compact design with no visible screws blends seamlessly with the space's architecture.

Drainage system

The screed box includes a drainage system to remove any liquid accumulated in the tank and a silicone tube to transport any condensation from the interior to the drain. The screed box is supplied with watertight cones to maintain the IP rating at the cable access point and a protective lid that prevents the entry of aggregates during the curing phase of the flooring.

Its design facilitates maintenance and cleaning without the need to disassemble the box.

Quick installation with the possibility of grouping boxes

The installation of the watertight box is very simple and consists of only three components:

Floor box screed box
Mechanism-holder unit
Required K45 functions with direct snap-fit

Additionally, the screed boxes can be joined laterally to each other on three of their four sides using metal clips to provide more connection points.
